2011 - FO 19

Here is the next project that I knit last week.  It is from the Sirdar book called Henhouse Girls and Farmhouse Boys.  They seem to name their patterns by numbers for some reason now like 2302 but I am calling it the Henhouse Ruffle Scarf which is knit in Sirdar Aran Supersoft in a royal blue color.  I knit the 11-12 year size for Isabelle and was worried I would run out of yarn but it only called for 1 ball and I didnt use all of it so I could have knit the stocking stitch part a bit longer.  It has ruffles on both ends which is great and very pretty.  Perfect for winter as it has been cold this week which is perfect for staying indoors and knitting away.

Isabelle may like the scarf but she doesn't look very happy about having her photo taken!

The scarf looks like a nice length even if you didn't use all the yarn. I can't believe I am going to say this but cold weather sounds so good right now. It is soooo HOT here right now.

Isabelle is lucky to have such a lovely mum to knit for her. I am glad you had enough wool for the scarf, it looks very warm!!
