A Little Bit of Stash Enhancement!

Hello there!  Things have been busy around here lately and I keep forgetting to take photos of projects and stash for the last couple of months - so... today is stash enhancement updates!  Firstly up above is some Malabrigo sock yarns.  The red is called Ravelry Red which I love and happens to be my favourite.  The blue one is called Impressionist Sky and the pink one is called Light of Love!  I bought these from Jodie of Jellywares quite a while ago now.  I have no plans for them apart from some beautiful socks and maybe a cowl.

Next up are some more sock yarns that I bought from A Swell Yarn Shop.  I like that 2 of them have alternate yarn for toes.  The bottom one doesnt have a name but if I remember correctly I am sure it is a xmas one.  The blue on is called Stormy Lagoon which is just beautiful.  The top one is called Turtle Cheeks and has more olive green in it that the picture shows.  They are all 360 yards, superwash merino and hand washable.  I cant wait to knit some socks up in these as the yarn feels wonderful.
Lastly I purchased a knitting bag from Slipped Stitches on etsy.com  I loved the sheepy fabric so much that I couldnt resist.  She even has a little bead on it with a bee which is super cute.  I like this bag for sock knitting as it has quite a bit of room in it and is very well made.
So that is about it for now with the stash enhancement over the last 6 months.  I think I will be very busy knitting some socks.  I have buttons to sew on a few projects and then I will take some pictures to show you all.  I need to go and buy some buttons firstly though so I get the color I want.
Oops nearly forgot the lucy update.  She is starting to grow now getting longer, fiestier and more playful.  She is attemtping to make friends with Bella our other cat and is starting to succeed.  She makes me giggle as she walks around the edge of Bella's basket trying to play.  She also wrestles with Tess the Jack Russell which is just hilarious.  She jumps on Tess and Tess will nudge her over and roll around wanting to play which is just adorable.  She is so gentle with her, which I cant say the same for Lucy as she likes to pounce on Tess and grab her around the nose with her claws.  I think they will definately be the best of friends and it will be interesting when Lucy is bigger than Tess to see how the friendship goes.

Okay I am off to finish a little v-neck jumper for my nephew.  I just peeked into Isabelle's room and she is sound asleep and it is only 5:30pm.  I think her little prep buddy must have worn her out at school today as she is never tired.  Perhaps she is having another growth spurt (hopefully not yet)!

See you all later and hope you all have a wonderful happy week!

I love the bag, very funny sheep!!
I'm so glad Lucy is making herself part of the family so quickly. It must be so nice for Tess and Bella to have a new friend (or possibly not sometimes!!)
Wow, Isabella must be so worn out!!!

I added to my stash yesterday; but nothing half as nice as your additions. That sock wool looks divine. I do love the sheep bag too!

Love the Ravelry Red sock yarn. That is my favourite; such a lovely deep cherry colour.
Lucy seems to be doing really well.
And Isabelle sounds well too. Sleep and growth are definitely related. Don't be too worried. Lots of gorgeous people are really tall!!!
Cheers Gillian
